Y’all really got out and vote this weekend. More than 14,000 people voted in Hamilton County this weekend alone, hitting a record 7,734 on Friday.

By the close of the weekend, the county was up to 94,363 ballots case, which makes up 36% of eligible voters. In 2016, the in-person early voting total was 42,132 people with another 11,470 people sending in their ballots by mail.

Here’s how those numbers compare to Marion and Johnson County.

There’s still time to vote early (or you can wait until the day of, if that’s your cup of tea). See all the early voting locations here.

Give feedback on Carmel schools redistricting

Elementary and middle school students in Carmel Clay Schools could be attending different schools next fall. But how many and which ones all depends on the outcome of the redistricting process now underway in the district.

The process also aligns with the opening of two new elementary schools slated for fall 2021 — a new Carmel Elementary and Clay Center Elementary. The current Carmel Elementary and Orchard Park are slated to close at the end of the school year.

On Monday, the district posted three possible redistricting scenarios online and is now asking for community feedback on the options.

Here’s more about the process, the options and how you can weigh in.

You can get brunch at Fishers Test Kitchen

Quite a bit has changed at the Fishers Test Kitchen at the Yard since it first opened, partially due to the pandemic. But probably the most important change (in my eyes at least) is that its chefs are leaning into brunch, the best meal of the day.

Sunday brunch is now a thing from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays. Sun King has a brunch cocktail menu and there’s plenty of delicious-looking food options, like Lil Dumplins’ Dutch baby with coconut sauce, berries and granola. Or biscuits with a kale-and-shitake mushroom coconut gravy.

Our dining reporter breaks down some of the other brunch options at the Test Kitchen and what other changes have been made.

COVID-19 medications made in Fishers?

A start-up drug maker will build its headquarters in Fishers and will be competing to get a piece of the action developing treatments for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

INCOG BioPharma Services will contract with pharmaceutical companies to produce their medications, a flood of which are expected to be tested or hit the market in the next few years. The company is eyeballing a spot just north of 116th Street between I-69 and Cumberland Road.

Here’s the lowdown in what they do and how they chose Fishers.
