Hollywood stars put up Christmas decor early this year to spread hope and cheer

Christmas is almost a month away, but a few Hollywood stars have already got into the spirit of the festival. It’s a red, white and green wash all over their Instagram posts as they put up their trees with glittery baubles and buntings, giving out joy and positivity. Here’s who’s got into the X’mas mood already…

Amanda Kloots, who lost her husband Nick Cordero to COVID-19 in July, said the tree brought back a feeling that he was still with them. She wrote: “I knew this might be a hard thing to do so I chose to make it joyful with my brother. We bought new decorations today, came home, put on Christmas music and got to it! I decided not to question anything this year. I hung every sentimental ornament and all our stockings. Some of it doesn’t make any sense at all, but it’s ok. For me, right now, it’s ok. I think in an odd way it makes me feel like Nick is still here.” She added, “I’ll miss him every step of the way. But, I will celebrate, smile and find the joy as much as I can along the way for me and for Elvis. Happy Holidays guys (sic).”

January Jones

The star is yet another early bird with the Christmas décor. She gave folks a peek into her pretty tree that she got ready way back on November 1 and captioned it: “Judge away!” January also shared a photo of her comforting fireplace, which was adorned with stockings that had the names of son Xander and sister Jina embroidered on them. She just can’t get enough of the tree and recently posted more pictures with it.

Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi made a festive prelude to Christmas, too. She posted a picture of herself in front of her tree all lit up with pretty twinkling lights and hugged a Santa doll. To add to the festive picture was a little brown reindeer and red and white-wrapped gifts lying around. The Jersey Shore actress captioned it: “FINALLY.”

Michelle Keegan

Here’s a star who’s pulled out all the stops. Coronation Street actress Michelle Keegan and husband Mark Wright’s farmhouse has a bunch of vivid decorations. Their tree is placed in the hall with its toy buntings, red candy canes and glittery bows. Mark took to Instagram to share a before and after video of how the festive tree made a difference to their space. He wrote: “Christmas has come early in our house! Had an absolute mare with the tree, then we got it wright (sic).”

Joan Collins

Actress Joan Collins raised a toast to an early celebration as she posed with her bauble-encrusted tree with glittery snowflakes, pine cones and fairy lights. She captioned the photo: “So what else should one do during #lockdown in #november? #christmas #christmasdecor #christmastree #lockdown2 (sic).” Fans loved it, saying it lightened the mood and was something to look forward to.
