Inside the brand new B&M store and garden centre in Barry

B&M opened a brand new store and garden centre in Barry over the weekend.

The branch is located at the former Poundstretcher site on Waterfront Retail Park and is part of a wider plan to launch 45 more stores across the UK this year.

After undergoing a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme, the Barry B&M store began welcoming customers on Saturday, November 21 and saw the creation of more than 70 jobs for people living in the local area.

As part of the launch, B&M’s new colleagues were asked to nominate a local charity they thought truly deserved some VIP treatment for the work they do for the local community.
