An Australian woman is rejoicing after discovering a budget cleaning product that removes stubborn grease and grime from the kitchen rangehood with ease.
The woman shared demonstrative videos to the Mums Who Clean Facebook community group and revealed she used the SpotGo Citrus All-Purpose Cleaner priced at $4.90 at her local IGA store.
She described the product as ‘amazing’ as it works incredibly well at draining the grime out of the household appliance.
‘The grease and grime just runs out. I clean the rangehood and filters regularly but omg, how filthy I must be,’ the woman said.
Prior to using the product, the rangehood was originally very filthy and covered in old oil.

The cleaning spray utilises ‘powerful cleaning agents’ that are also used by cleaning companies.
It can be used on a range of household surfaces, including the kitchen bench, oven, stove top as well as the bathroom toilet.
But the product label warns it should not be used on clothes, fabric or unsealed surfaces.
In the video the woman can be seen spraying the product and wiping the oil away using a cloth, which left the rangehood looking sparkling new.
After sharing the insight online, the woman was praised by kind strangers who were impressed with the cleaning suggestion.
But while the woman sprayed the cleaning product directly only the rangehood, it’s ideal to remove the filters first to banish any hidden grease lurking inside.
SpotGo also sell a range of other inexpensive products, including carpet spot cleaner, antibacterial disinfectant surface spray, kitchen de-greaser and a streak-free window cleaner.
