The best early deals and sales on TVs, laptops, kitchen appliances, and more

Here’s the bad news for traditional Black Friday shoppers: the 2020 event won’t include any midnight trips to the store or parking lot campouts waiting for those doors to slide open and welcome us in. The good news? There are still a slew of bargains right around the corner. Arguably the best news is that you don’t even have to wait until Black Friday (Nov. 27) to snag them. With so many of us staying home due to COVID-19 precautions, retailers like Walmart are putting loads of products on sale early, and their deals reflect our brave new home-centric world.

Walmart Black Friday deals will roll out in three separate savings events throughout November, with special events online and in store. Do you have your calendar handy? It’s okay if not: Just bookmark this post and check back often—we’ll be updating it regularly with new deals and removing the old ones.

  • Event 1 starts on Wednesday, Nov. 4, with new deals rolling out on Friday Nov. 7 in stores;
  • Event 2 begins Weds, Nov. 11 at 7 pm ET, with even more deals added on Saturday, Nov. 14;
  • The big finale starts on Thanksgiving Eve, Weds. Nov. 25 at 7 pm ET, with even more deals landing on Black Friday itself, Friday, Nov. 27.

So that everyone stays safe, online shoppers will have the option of contact-free curbside service from their local Walmart store. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive an email with all the pick-up details.

Walmart’s deals reflect two things about our current reality: Money is tight, and we’re all spending more time at home. So yes, we would love a 42-inch Roku TV for just $88. A Magic Bullet Blender for energizing morning smoothies before a Zoom-packed workday? For $15, why not? (And oh, right—there are gifts for the family too, from brands like HP, Instant Pot, LEGO, Shark and more.) With steals in every department from Electronics to Home Improvement to Office Supplies, there’s something for everyone, at cost.
